Baker Assaf studied at AlMaghrib Institute, completing a Bachelors degree in Islamic Sciences. He holds a BSEE from NJIT and a MBA in Finance from Fordham. He completed his Islamic Finance Certification from AusCIF and holds ijaazat in many fiqh (jurisprudence) books in the Shafi’ee school, as well as Riyaad Al-Saliheen. He is working on his Masters in Islamic Finance at Guidance College. He regularly teaches at Islamic Centers, Universities, and Community Centers around NJ, developing Muslims to be more empowered and active within their communities.
