Ahmed serves on the ICMC community as board since 2005 and is also a board member with NJDAWAH since it’s inception. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and MBA in International Business. Ahmed is currently in his 19th year as a teacher of business education in the Parsippany School District (Parsippany Hills 16 years and Parsippany High School, 3rd year and DECA business club Advisor.) He was the Future Business Leader of America Advisor previously for 17 years at PHHS. In 2007, Ahmed Kandil lead the boys soccer team to the NJSIAA North II Group III State Championship as the Head Coach and hosted the finals in 2012. In 2015 & 2019 he was selected as the NJ Future Business Leaders of America Advisor of the year and represented the state of NJ at Nationals in Chicago & San Antonio. In 2018 he was selected as the Lakeland area (comprised of at least 10 towns) YMCA Secondary Educator of the Year. In 2019 he was awarded the Junior Achievement of New Jersey educator of the year recognition at their Centennial (100 year celebration event). Ahmed has been involved in numerous interfaith events, workshops as well as youth and dawah initiatives. A student of Dr. Hatem Al-Haj

He has been an Almaghrib student since 2005 having studied under Dr. Waleed Basiouni, Dr. Yasir Qadhi and Sh. Yaser Birjas (fulfilled course requirements for Aqeedah certification).
